An Autumn Course of Workshops in Rothesay
Four Friday afternoons to explore your creativity here in Rothesay. Discover the spontaneous and expressive world of printmaking in this immersive series of printmaking workshops combining monotype and collagraph printmaking.
Held in my lovely garden studio in Rothesay, you will learn how to combine these two unique printing media to produce colourful one-of-a-kind prints. Monotype will combine the directness of painting with the texture of collagraphs to bring the two distinctive qualities of printmaking into one image.

The course is broken down into individual stages:
Day 1 - Learn to make a collagraph plate
Day 2 - The importance of proofing your plate
Day 3 - Printing your collagraph plate in colour
Day 4 - Learn to include monotype layering and where appropriate, found materials
Throughout creative experimentation is encouraged
